After a jury trial, defendant, Wayne Thompson, was found guilty of the unlawful delivery, while on a public way within 1,000 feet of residential property owned, operated, or managed by a public housing agency, of less than one gram of a substance containing cocaine (720 ILCS 570/401(d), 407(b)(2) (West 1998)) and sentenced to 10 years' imprisonment.
