Patrick-Miller Tractor Company, Inc., leased equipment to Troy A. McManus and Allen L. Lang, two Sabine Parish timber farmers, in August 1995. Both McManus and Lang leased a stumper from Patrick-Miller for a term of 36 and 42 months respectively. In the lease documents, Patrick-Miller assigned its interest in "all rentals and other payments paid, due or becoming due" to Ford New Holland Credit Company (hereinafter referred to as "New Holland Credit")...
