On March 21, 2001, the State charged the defendant with one count of aggravated burglary, a violation of La. R.S. 14:60, one count of attempt first-degree murder, a violation of La. R.S. 14:(27)30, and one count of forcible rape, a violation of La. R.S. 14:42.1. He pled not guilty at his arraignment on March 28, 2001. At the motions hearing, the court found probable cause and denied the motions...
