At issue in this case is whether defendant negligently hired, trained and supervised employees and failed to properly implement policies and procedures to secure customer belongings resulting in theft of a customer's jewelry. For the following reasons, we amend the trial court's award of $4,000.00 for plaintiff's mental anguish and affirm the judgment as amended.
