The issue presented by this writ application is whether the occupants of a vehicle owned by a resident relative may recover under an additional uninsured motorist (UM) policy that they purchased on a vehicle not involved in the accident. Because we find that La.R.S. 22:1406(D)(1)(c) prohibits recovery under a second policy in these circumstances, we hold that the trial court erred in not granting the UM...
