SCOTT v. STATE

No. 2D01-2600.

820 So.2d 1079 (2002)

Walter SCOTT, Appellant, v. STATE of Florida, Appellee.

District Court of Appeal of Florida, Second District.

July 17, 2002.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

James Marion Moorman, Public Defender, and Robert D. Rosen, Assistant Public Defender, Bartow, for Appellant.

Robert A. Butterworth, Attorney General, Tallahassee, and C. Suzanne Bechard, Assistant Attorney General, Tampa, for Appellee.

NORTHCUTT, Judge.

Walter Scott appeals the denial of his motion to withdraw his plea on the ground that the circuit court and his counsel failed to advise him of the possibility that he would be committed under the Jimmy Ryce Act1 upon his release from prison. We affirm pursuant to our decision in Watrous v. State, 793 So.2d 6 (Fla. 2d DCA 2001).
