On April 27, 1995, an Orleans Parish Grand Jury indicted the defendant, Roger LaCaze, for three counts of first degree murder in violation of La.Rev.Stat. 14:30. After a trial by jury, the Defendant was found guilty as charged on all three counts. At the conclusion of the penalty phase the jury, having found multiple aggravating factors, unanimously sentenced defendant to death. The trial judge sentenced defendant to death...
