At issue is whether the homeowner's claims over a faulty slate roof have prescribed. Freddy Nolan, plaintiff, sued Roofing Supply, Inc. of Monroe (Roofing Supply), the supplier, and Frank Stone & Son, Inc. (Stone), the builder, claiming that the slate roof installed on his new home was defective or improperly installed. Nolan appealed the trial court's judgment sustaining the defendants' peremptory exceptions of prescription and dismissing his action...
