On 5 March 1998, the Estate of John Francis Cristadoro, a deceased Georgia resident, through its representative, Rebecca Jones, a Georgia citizen, and John Harold Cristadoro, individually as Decedent's son and as tutor of his minor brother, filed suit against Gold-Kist, Inc., a Georgia corporation doing business in Louisiana, and James Duane Weaver of Georgia.
