Defendant, Thaddeus Harrell, appeals from his conviction of aggravated battery, a violation of La.R.S. 14:33 and 14:34. We affirm the conviction and sentence.

The Defendant was initially charged with attempted second degree murder. He pled not guilty. Following a trial on January 24 and 25, 2001, the jury, by a vote of ten to two, found him guilty of the lesser charge of aggravated battery and he was subsequently sentenced to six...
