These civil actions were brought on behalf of Erin Jacobs, a minor, by her parents Richard and Patricia Jacobs (the Jacobs), and Alexis McGoldrick, a minor, by her parents Mark and Theresa McGoldrick (the McGoldricks) against Merrymead Farm and the Montgomery County Health Department (the Health Department) for injuries suffered due to alleged exposure to E-coli bacteria.
