Defendant/Appellant John Royal appeals his conviction for simple burglary. Royal asserts that the trial court erred both in imposing an arbitrary time limit during voir dire, and in allowing the State to peremptorily excuse jurors on the basis of gender alone. For the following reasons, the judgment of the trial court is affirmed.
