Fiskars OY AB and Fiskars, Inc. (collectively "Fiskars") are the owner and exclusive licensee, respectively, of U.S. Patent No. 5,322,001, which is directed to a paper trimmer with a rotary blade. Fiskars filed suit against Hunt Manufacturing Co. ("Hunt") in the United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin, alleging that Hunt's Heavy Duty 12" Paper Trimmer infringed the Fiskars patent. A jury found Hunt liable for...
