STATEMENT OF THE CASE

Kevin C. Tankersley appeals the trial court's grant of partial summary judgment1 in favor of Parkview Hospital, Inc. ("Parkview") on Parkview's claim to enforce a hospital lien. The following issue is dispositive of our review:

Whether the trial court erred as a matter of law when it found that Tankersley, an attorney, was liable under the Indiana Hospital Lien Act...
