The Jefferson Parish District Attorney filed a Bill of Information charging the defendant, Michael Fairley, with violating LSA-R.S. 40:967(A), possession with intent to distribute cocaine. In separate Bills of Information, the defendant was also charged with possession of cocaine, and battery of a police officer.1 Defendant initially pled not guilty, but after the trial court denied his Motions to Suppress Evidence...
