¶ 1. In May 1995, Bill Watts underwent a surgical procedure at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) that rendered him a paraplegic. Watts and his wife Bonnie filed a complaint alleging negligence against Dr. Brian Tsang and others, in the Hinds County Circuit Court, First Judicial District.
