Defendant, Antoine Williams, was originally charged by bill of information with three counts of armed robbery, violations of La. R.S. 14:64. The State amended Count 2 of the bill of information to charge defendant with attempted armed robbery, a violation of La. R.S. 14:64 and 27, and added Count 4 to charge defendant with armed robbery.
