In September 1999 defendant, Bryce Jamesson, was charged by complaint with the offenses of unlawful contact with a street gang member (720 ILCS 5/25-1.1 (West 1998)) and unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor (235 ILCS 5/6-20 (West 1998)).
