A St. Louis County jury found appellant Kenneth James Budreau guilty of firstdegree premeditated murder and first-degree murder while committing kidnapping. The district court then convicted Budreau of both counts and sentenced him to life imprisonment without possibility of release on the conviction for murder while committing kidnapping.
