¶ 1. Jeffrey Randle ("Randle") was indicted on April 11, 1997, by a Grand Jury for capital murder in the killing of Willie Mae Sewell ("Sewell") while engaged in the commission of a robbery. Following a trial by jury in the Circuit Court of Clay County, Randle was convicted of capital murder and sentenced to life imprisonment in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections without the possibility of parole...
