STRINGER, Justice.

On January 31, 1997 appellant Paul Solum was driving an uninsured pickup truck when a collision occurred with a vehicle driven by Adam Kraus. David Stoen, a passenger in the Kraus vehicle, was injured and brought suit against Paul Solum and Kraus. American National General Insurance Company (American) insured other vehicles owned by Paul Solum and he sought general liability coverage...
