A jury heard the State's case against Chance Ceaser, the Defendant, on two counts of committing battery of a police officer with injury, in violation of Louisiana Revised Statute 14:34.2(B). The jury found the Defendant guilty on both counts, finding as charged on the first count, but as to the second, finding "not producing injury." He was sentenced to two years at hard labor on the first count and given a concurrent sentence of six months on the second...
