¶ 1. On October 13, 1995, Laura Dawn Tuckier ("Laura") was killed when her Bronco II sport-utility-vehicle rolled over and crashed. Following this accident, it was determined that one of Laura's tires had separated and that this tire had been manufactured by Cooper Tire and Rubber Company, Inc. ("Cooper").
