Appellant challenges the district court's decision that respondent retained a nonmarital interest in a home's equity even after the property was refinanced. Appellant also argues that, because the equity no longer has a nonmarital component, the Schmitz formula, used to determine what portion of an increase in a property's value is nonmarital, is inapplicable.
