Justice QUINN delivered the opinion of the court:

Following a jury trial, defendant, Demetrius Cunningham, was convicted of first degree murder, aggravated kidnaping, robbery and aggravated vehicular hijacking. Defendant was 15 years old at the time the incident occurred. Defendant was sentenced to 80 years for first degree murder, 30 years for aggravated vehicular hijacking, 15 years for aggravated kidnaping and 7 years for robbery. The sentences
