On November 14, 2000, Larry Darnell Cole was indicted for first-degree robbery and first-degree assault, violations of §§ 13A-8-41(a)(1) and 13A-6-20(a)(1), Ala. Code 1975, respectively. On January 24, 2001, Cole entered a plea of guilty to second-degree robbery and first-degree assault, violations of §§ 13A-8-42 and 13A-6-20(a)(1), Ala.Code 1975, respectively.
