After a jury trial, defendant, Michael P. McCormick, was found guilty of the unlawful possession of less than 15 grams of a substance containing cocaine (720 ILCS 570/402(c) (West 2000)), driving under the influence of alcohol (625 ILCS 5/11-501(a)(2) (West Supp.1999)), and failing to yield while entering a highway (625 ILCS 5/11-906 (West 2000)).
