HARRIS v. STATE

No. 1D01-2812.

812 So.2d 570 (2002)

Fredrick HARRIS, Appellant, v. STATE of Florida, Appellee.

District Court of Appeal of Florida, First District.

March 28, 2002.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Appellant, pro se.

Robert A. Butterworth, Attorney General; Anne C. Toolan, Assistant Attorney General, Tallahassee, for Appellee.

PER CURIAM.

The appellant challenges the trial court's summary denial of his motion for postconviction relief, filed pursuant to Florida Rule of Criminal Procedure 3.850, in which he raises two claims of ineffective assistance of counsel. Because the appellant's motion was filed within two years of the date that our mandate issued in his direct appeal, his postconviction motion was timely. See Cook v. State, 596 So.2d 483
