The State charged Defendant, Dwayne Curtis Dorsey, with battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting an officer with violence. Dorsey entered a plea of not guilty and the case proceeded to trial by jury. The jury found Dorsey guilty of the resisting with violence charge and acquitted him of the battery charge.
