The appellant, Travian DeBois Ray, appeals from the circuit court's denial of his petition for postconviction relief filed pursuant to Rule 32, Ala.R.Crim.P., in which he attacked his 2000 conviction for unlawful distribution of a controlled substance (cocaine) and the resulting sentence of 45 years' imprisonment. We affirmed Ray's conviction on direct appeal, by an unpublished memorandum, Ray v. State, 819 So.2d 122
