Martinez R. Brown, petitioner, was convicted, after a jury trial in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, of second degree assault, wearing and carrying a handgun, and being a felon in possession of a handgun. He was sentenced to various concurrent and consecutive periods of incarceration. His convictions were affirmed by the Court of Special Appeals.
