Considering that the Louisiana Supreme Court remanded these cases, they are consolidated for our review.

This Court rendered an unpublished opinion in Hoffman v. New Orleans Police Department, 2001-1302 (La.App. 4 Cir. 2/13/02), 812 So.2d 160 [Table]. That decision reversed the ruling of the Civil Service Commission that dismissed the appeal of Hoffman's termination...
