Defendant, Mervyn Williams, along with co-defendants, Steven Bailey and Anthony Gusman, were indicted by a grand jury on January 4, 1996 with two counts of first degree murder in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:30. Defendant pled not guilty and filed several pre-trial motions including a motion to suppress identification. After a hearing, his motion to suppress identification was denied.
