This case is on appeal from the Twenty-Fifth Judicial District Court for the Parish of Plaquemines. The jury found in favor of the plaintiffs awarding Darlene Rogers $160,124 and awarding Carol Barnes $716,767 in damages. The jury additionally apportioned fifty percent of the fault to the plaintiff, Carol Barnes. The plaintiffs' post trial motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict was granted and the trial judge re-apportioned fault to twenty percent...
