HOWE, Justice:

¶ 1 This is an interlocutory appeal from the district court's order that it has jurisdiction over the criminal prosecution of defendant, who had reached his twenty-first birthday when the proceedings were commenced, but who was under age eighteen at the time of his alleged crimes.
