WILLIS, Judge.

Appellant City of Glencoe (the city) challenges the district court's denial of its motion to dismiss for lack of subject-matter jurisdiction over respondent Daniel John Lueth's motion to compel arbitration, which he brought after the city terminated his employment. We conclude that the district court had subject-matter jurisdiction to decide whether there existed an agreement between the parties to submit to arbitration, and we affirm...
