¶ 1. On or about September 23, 1998, George Redd stopped at a convenience store south of Canton, Mississippi. While in the store, he looked outside to where he had parked his car and noticed a man, later identified as the appellant, Chris Bowie, getting into his car. Redd ran outside to stop the man from driving off, but the car sped away. The store attendant notified police, and they tracked down...
