The defendant, Cedric Charles O'Neal, was convicted of vehicular homicide. The state charged him as a multiple offender. The defendant was found to be a third felony habitual offender and was accordingly sentenced to life in prison without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence. On the original appeal of this case, we affirmed the conviction and the defendant's adjudication as a third felony...
