On October 19, 1998, Dontel Oneal Sykes pleaded guilty to second-degree robbery. The circuit court sentenced him to serve 15 years in prison, but suspended the sentence and ordered that Sykes be placed on supervised probation for 5 years. After a hearing on December 18, 2001, the circuit court revoked Sykes's probation. This appeal followed.
