SCHWARTZMAN, Chief Judge.

Kody Shane Butcher appeals from his conviction for first degree murder. He argues that the district court erred in denying his motion to suppress, in evidentiary rulings, in instructing the jury, and in denying his motion for a new trial. He also appeals his sentence of life imprisonment without possibility of parole as excessive. We affirm.
