FACTS

Dennis Drouillard began working as a patrolman with the City of Vinton Police Department in 1984. He continued working with the department in various capacities and was elected Chief of Police in 1992. He was re-elected in 1996. Drouillard resigned effective June 9, 2000, for reasons unrelated to his health.
