Claude Lyons was convicted of two counts of selling cocaine and one count each of trafficking in cocaine and using a communication facility in committing a crime. Before trial, he moved to suppress evidence obtained from a search of his apartment, arguing, among other things, that the affidavit given in support of the warrant did not establish probable cause to search.
