On September 26, 2000, a jury found Jose Lazaro Contreras guilty of Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Substance, in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 841(a)(1) and 846. On appeal, Contreras asks us to consider, among other things, whether the district court improperly refused defendant's request for a multiple conspiracy instruction. We find that there was sufficient evidence before the jury to conclude that Contreras had participated...
