Appellant, the State of Maryland, requests relief from an order entered in the Circuit Court for Carroll County (Galloway, J.) granting a modification of sentence more than ninety days beyond the date sentence was passed upon appellee, Calvin Lamont Warfield. Appellee had been sentenced under the subsequent drug offender statute, Md.Code Ann., art. 27, § 286, mandating a ten-year sentence. The sentence was modified to allow entry into a drug treatment...
