Levonne Thomas, appellant, was convicted by a jury in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City of second degree murder, as well as two counts of wearing or carrying a weapon openly with the intent to injure. The court sentenced appellant to thirty years of imprisonment for the murder conviction and three years for each weapons count, concurrent to each other but consecutive to the murder sentence.
