I. INTRODUCTION

John L. Curlile appeals from his convictions and sentences on charges of making a terroristic threat and using a weapon in the commission of a felony. The charges arose out of a situation wherein Curlile, while parked in a vehicle outside a convenience store, waved a firearm up and down and shouted in the direction of an employee inside the convenience store.
