CONNOLLY, J.

Following a jury verdict, the district court entered judgment for appellee, Tonia Fales, on two lost promissory notes. Fales is the successor personal representative of the estate of Virginia Norine (Virginia). The notes were executed by appellant, Irvin J. Norine (Norine), Virginia's son, payable to Virginia.

The district court entered judgment after finding there was sufficient evidence to support the verdict under Neb. U.C.C. § 3-309 ...
