This is a civil action for monetary relief brought pursuant to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e, and the Equal Pay Act, 29 U.S.C. § 206(d). Plaintiff Tracey Lust contends that defendant Sealy, Inc. discriminated against her on the basis of sex when it failed to give her a promotion and paid her less than male employees who did the same work.
