Before the Court are various motions filed by various parties. First, Defendant Unum Provident Corporation ("UPC") has filed a motion to dismiss the claims against it. Second, Plaintiff Harold Adkins ("Adkins") has filed a motion to amend his complaint. Finally, Adkins has filed two motions to append the record. For the following reasons, UPC's motion to dismiss is GRANTED, and Adkins's motions are DENIED...
