Schaefer ("Schaefer"), has sued his employer, Indiana Michigan Power Company, d/b/a American Electric Power ("AEP"), alleging that AEP has violated the Fair Labor Standards Act (the "FLSA"), 29 U.S.C. §§ 201 to 219, by failing to pay Schaefer for overtime work at 1-1/2 times his normal hourly rate as required by 29 U.S.C. § 207(a)(1).
